Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue Writ of Mandamus directing the third and fourth respondents to grant permission to conduct blood donation camp, annathanam and other charity services on 04.03.2021 from 8.00 A.M. to 04.00 P.M., in pursuant to the birth day celebration of Gurusamy Yadav conducted by C.Gurusamy yadav memorial educational and social trust, at Sankarankovil, Tenkasi District.

ORDER

By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself.

2.This petition is filed seeking for a direction to the third and fourth respondents to grant permission to conduct blood donation camp, annathanam and other charity services on 04.03.2021 in the house of the petitioner at Atkondargulam, Sankarankovil, Tenkasi District.

3.Mr.V.Kathirvelu, learned senior counsel for Mr.K.Prabhu, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner contended that though the petitioner submitted a representation dated 06.02.2021 to the third respondent / Inspector of Police, Taluk Police Station, Sankarankovil, till date, no action has been taken by the respondents.

4.Mr.S.Chandra Sekar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor accepts notice for the respondents and contended that the petitioner's representation dated 06.02.2021 is posted for enquiry. 5.In the circumstances, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner either in his representation or in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, this Court directs the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, based on merits and on findings, as early as possible. 6.With the above observation, this petition is disposed of. No costs.
