O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by G.K.ILANTHIRAIYAN, J.) This Habeus Corpus Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to secure and produce the body or person of the detenue Karthikeyan, S/o.Selvam aged about 29 years before this Court and set her at liberty

2. The petitioner is none other than wife of the detenue and they got married on 24.04.2024. Thereafter the husband of the petitioner left the matrimonial home and did not return back, hence the petitioner lodged a complaint before the second respondent and thereafter he was traced. During enquiry the second respondent found that the husband of the petitioner eloped with one Keerthi and their whereabouts are not known.

3. Admittedly the husband of the petitioner is major and he eloped with one Keethi, therefore he is not under illegal detention of any one.

4. In view of the same, the Habeus Corpus Petition stands dismissed. However the petitioner is at liberty to approach the Family Court for appropriate relief in the manner known to law, if so, advised. [G.K.I., J.] [R.P., J.] 04.02.2026 aav To
