ORDER
Mr.B.Saravanan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents.
2. Considering the limited relief sought for in the writ petition, with the consent of the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
3. The petitioner seeks issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents for a speedy disposal of the petition dated 19.08.2024 for issuing patta in Survey No.82/1A1A1 comprised in Mandapam, Revenue Village, Ramanathapuram Taluka, Ramanathapuram District.
4. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner has noticed that the patta which was issued to him has been transferred in the name of the 3rd party namely Veerathillai wife of Sakthivel. Thereafter, the petitioner has sent a notice seeking an enquiry to be conducted and for issuance of patta in his name, after cancelling the patta issued in the name of the Veerathillai wife of Sakthivel.

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the application of the petitioner can be disposed of only after hearing the present patta holder namely Veerathillai wife of Sakthivel in whose name admittedly even according to the petitioner, the patta has been mutated or transferred.

In view of the above observations, writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the 1st respondent / Revenue Divisional Officer to enquire into the representation of the petitioner dated 19.08.2024 after giving due opportunity to Veerathillai wife of Sakthivel and also the petitioner to produce all the documents / records in respect of the claims. The said enquiry shall be completed within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above observations and directions. No cost.
