N.Velvendan ... Respondent / Writ Appeal by setting aside the order made in W.P(MD)No.16637 of 2023 dated 11.07.2023 on the file of the Court.

For Respondent : Mr.N.Sudhagar Nagaraj COMMON JUDGMENT (Judgment of the Court was made by G.R.Swaminathan J.) The case on hand is squarely covered by hundreds of orders. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the contesting respondents / writ petitioners has drawn our attention to the order dated 12.07.2017 made in W.A(MD)Nos.886 & 887 of 2017. Paragraph 4 of the said order reads as follows:

"4.The learned counsel appearing for the Corporation could not dispute the factual position that in the standing orders applicable to employees / respective first respondents there is no provision to effect such recoveries. The learned single Judge following the order dated 24 February 2015, rendered by an earlier Division Bench in W.A(MD)No.52 to 54 of 2015, held that permitting the Corporation to deduct the 5/7

''non implemented punishment of increment cuts'' cannot be considered as just or equitable. The case on hand is clearly covered by the aforesaid earlier Division Bench decision and the learned single Judge was right in the following same." 3.We are not find any merit in these Writ Appeals. These Writ Appeals stand dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
