ORDER : The Court made the following order :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned counsel appearing for the intervener and the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.

2. The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences under section 420 of I.P.C., in Crime No.604 of 2018 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

3. The specific case of the defacto complainant is that the petitioner prevailed upon him and his wife to deposit a sum of Rs.10,00,000/- in Indian Bank, Town Hall Road Branch.

Interestingly, the account was a joint account, in the name of the petitioner and Ramalakshmi. The said Ramamlakshmi is the wife of the defacto complainant and she passed away. Subsequently from the said account a sum of Rs.10,00, 000/- transferred to the account of the petitioner. The amount of Rs.10,00,000/- is still lying in the petitioner's bank account. The petitioner is also said to have obtained signed blank cheques and filed cases under Section 138 of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Negotiable Instruments Act against the defacto complainant. Those cases ended in acquittal. The conduct of the petitioner is beyond condonation. This is not a fit case for granting anticipatory bail.
