When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate submitted that notices had been issued under Section 7 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act to the encroachers.

2. We direct the Tahsildar, Auvudayarkovil to take the process to its logical conclusion. The entire exercise will be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. We make it clear that we have not gone into the merits of the matter. The authorities shall adhere to due process of law. This writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
