ORDER

Considering the scope of the writ petition, with the consent of parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner seeks issuance of writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to issue patta to the petitioner in Grama Natham Land in Survey No.37/1, with an extent of 6 1/2 cents, situated at Nadukotti Village, Thirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District.

3. The petitioner, has made representation dated 18.12.2024 stating that he does not own any property and he is a coolie worker, who has to take care of two minor girl children, is therefore sought for issuance of patta under the Landless Poor Scheme. 2/5

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit the petitioner's application would be considered in accordance with law and subject to the prevailing rules and regulations.

5. In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.12.2024 and pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
