Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 2 and 3 to dispose the Appeal dated 22.05.2021 in respect of Legal Heir Certificate of the petitioner's husband late Mr.Ronald David. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking early disposal of the petitioner's statutory appeal, which is pending on the file of the second respondent.

2.The statutory appeal dated 22.05.2021 has been filed by the petitioner before the second respondent. Since the appeal has not been disposed of till date, the petitioner seeks for early disposal. 3.Heard Mr.Gini Manual, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.D.Sasikumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents.

4.No prejudice will be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's statutory appeal pending on the file of the first respondent is disposed of, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5.Accordingly, this Court directs the second respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's statutory appeal dated 22.05.2021, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner and other legal heirs of the deceased Mr.Ronald David, who is the husband of the petitioner, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the aforesaid directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
