O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to dispose of the appeal proceedings in Oo.Mu.(D6)/3016123/2025 relating to UDR correction, initiated based on the petitioner's representation dated 10.02.2025, within such time as may be stipulated by this Court and in accordance with law.

2. With the consent of the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the subject property belongs to the petitioner and his siblings, who inherited the same by way of succession. However, the said land has been wrongly classified as Anadheen land in the UDR and other revenue records. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 10.02.2025 to the first respondent seeking cancellation of the incorrect classification and issuance of patta in the name of the petitioner and his siblings. 4. The second respondent, vide proceedings dated 24.04.2025, directed the third and fourth respondents to take appropriate action on the petitioner's grievance. Thereafter, no action has been taken. The second respondent, who is the competent authority, has also failed to take any action for UDR correction. Hence, the petitioner has been constrained to file the present Writ Petition.

5. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 10.02.2025 would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed by the second respondent within a period of twelve weeks.

6. Recording the above submission and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.02.2025 and pass appropriate orders on its merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The representation shall be disposed of after conducting an enquiry. The second respondent is also directed to provide a reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and any other Page No. 3 of 5
