PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to issue a direction to the respondent police to expedite the investigation in Cr. No. 72 of 2014 dated 26.04.2014 and file charge sheet within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking direction to the respondent police to expedite the investigation in Cr. No.72 of 2014 dated 26.04.2014 and file charge sheet within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

2. Earlier, on 06.10.2023, when the matter was taken up for hearing, a report was called for from the trial Court as to the stage of the final report. The report is received from the trial Court stating that final report was filed and was taken cognizance in C.C.No.234 of 2017 and posted for appearing of the witnesses.
