KARTHICK, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.P.KANDASAMY Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the Respondent the court made the following order:- On a perusal of records, it is seen that anticipatory bail was granted on 12.08.2016 and the petitioner along with other accused filed a petition in Crl.M.P. No.8308 of 2016 for extension of time and two weeks time was granted as per the order dated 8.9.2016. The petitioner failed to comply with the condition. Thereafter, the petitioner filed a second anticipatory bail petition in Crl.O.P.No.19015 of 2016 and the same was ordered on 3.10.2016 granting 10 days time from the date on which the order copy is made ready to appear before the concerned court and the date on which the order copy received is not mentioned in this application.

The petitioner failed to appear before the concerned court within the stipulated time once again. The present petition is filed for extension of time on 10.01.2017. Hence, the petitioner is out of time i.e after 3 months time.

2. Considering the reasons assigned in the petition filed for extension of time, this Court is inclined to extend 10 days time from the date of which the order copy is made ready, on condition that the petitioner shall pay a sum of Rs.2000/- to the District Legal Services Authorities, Tirunelveli District. sd/- 24/01/2017 / TRUE COPY / Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.) Madurai Bench of Madras High Court, Madurai - 625 023.
