O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the third respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.343 of 2024 dated 14.03.2024 .

2. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the Defacto-complainant and he has lodged a complaint. Based upon the complaint, the third respondent registered a case in Crime No.343 of 2024 for the offences punishable under sections 147, 148, 342, 294(b),323, 386, 506(ii) of IPC. Thereafter, the respondent police did not conduct proper investigation and failed to file final report. Therefore, the present petition has been filed.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that the case is under investigation and they will complete the investigation within a period of two months. Therefore, they sought for some time to complete the investigation.

4. Considering the limited scope of prayer sought for in this petition and also recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, this Court directs the third respondent to complete the investigation and file final report within a period of two months from the date of this order.

5. With the above said observations and directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
