O R D E R

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned District Munsif Cum Rent Controller , Tirunelveli to dispose the R.C.O.P.No.32 of 2018 within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.According to the petitioners, the respondent herein as tenant in their property and monthly rent was fixed at Rs.3,000/- per month. Since the respondent has failed to pay the rent, R.C.O.P.No.32 of 2018 has been filed by the petitioners for evicting the respondent and handed over the possession to them. Pending R.C.O.P, I.A.No.2 of 2019 was filed by the petitioners for receiving additional evidence. The said interlocutory application was adjourned in various dates. The grievance of the petitioners is that due to the pendency of I.A.No.2 of 2019, R.C.O.P.No.32 of 2018 is also pending without any progress. Hence, they filed the present Civil Revision Petition for early disposal of R.C.O.P.

3. Since this Civil Revision Petition is filed for early disposal of the R.C.O.P, no notice is necessary to the respondent herein.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the fact that since I.A.No.2 of 2019 is kept pending for a very long time and adjourned for several occasions, this Court feels that ends of justice would be met by directing the Court below to dispose of the Interlocutory Application within a time frame. Without adverting to the merits of the case, a direction is issued to the learned District Munsif Cum Rent Controller, Tirunelveli to dispose the I.A.No.2 of 2019 on merits and in accordance with law https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and thereafter, the learned District Munsif Cum Rent Controller shall expedite the hearing of the R.C.O.P.No.32 of 2018 and dispose the same as early as possible.

5. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
