PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Declaration, declaring the entire selection process in Notification No.1 to 3/2019, dated 19.06.2019 of the ninth respondent to fill up 62 posts of various vacancies as illegal and consequently, direct the second respondent to conduct the entire selection afresh under his supervision as a Special Officer and further direct the respondents 1 to 7 to hold enquiry against the respondents 8 to 13 for their irregularities in selection of candidates to various posts and management of Aavin Department and consider the petitioner's representation, dated 19.01.2021.

O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble CHIEF JUSTICE] It is difficult to accept the petitioner's complaint pertaining to a recruitment process and the perceived irregularities in the conduct thereof.

2.In any event, the process has been completed and the official respondents indicate that appointments have been made in January, 2021.

3.Since the matter pertains to the services of several individuals, the petitioner's grievance cannot be given much credence. However, the respondent authorities should cross-check the process and if any irregularities are found, remedial measures should be taken as expeditiously as possible. The petitioner's prayer for interfering with the process is declined, in view of the appointments having already been made.
