ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the 1st respondent to recover a sum of Rs.4,10,817/- (Rupees Four Lakhs Ten Thousand Eight Hundred and Seventeen only) with subsequent interest at the rate of 12% till the date of realization towards the award amount in W.C.No. 277 of 2006 on the file of the 2nd respondent.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that an award amount of Rs.4,10,817/- (Rupees Four Lakhs Ten Thousand Eight Hundred and Seventeen only) has 2/5

already been recovered. However, the interest portion alone remains pending to be recovered.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that they are ready to recover the same.

4. Heard, the learned Counsels on either sides. Carefully perused the materials available on record.

5. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, this Court hereby direct the 1st respondent to recover the interest at the rate of 12% till the date of realization towards the aforesaid award amount within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
