Prayer: Civil Revision Petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India to expedite the proceedings in M.H.O.P.No.127 of 2012 on the file of the Principal District Judge, Thanjavur. For Petitioner : Mr.R.Vijayakumar

O R D E R

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned Principal District Judge, Thanjavur to expedite the petition in M.H.O.P.No.127 of 2012 within a specified period that this Court deem fit in the circumstance of the case. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would state that the petitioner has filed a petition in M.H.O.P.No.127 of 2012 to declare himself as the Guardian Cum Manager of the mentally challenged person namely J.Raveendran Simon. The learned counsel would further state that the said petition was filed on 10.09.2012 and a counter was filed by the contesting respondents on 23.09.2013. The evidence on the side of the petitioner was completed on 11.04.2018. The grievance of the petitioner is that though more than six months have been lapsed, the respondents have not yet produced their side of witnesses and the Court is adjourning the matter from time to time, without any reasonable cause. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court for speedy disposal the petition in M.H.O.P.No.127 of 2012.

3. Since this Civil Revision Petition is filed for early disposal of the M.H.O.P.No.127 of 2012, no notice is necessary to the respondents herein.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that the M.H.O.P.No.127 of 2012 is of the year

2012, this Court feels that ends of justice would be met by directing the Court below to dispose of the petition within a time frame. Without adverting to the merits of the case, a direction is issued to the learned Principal District Judge, Thanjavur to dispose the M.H.O.P.No.127 of 2012 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
