O R D E R

The writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to give permission for "Condolence Procession" from Pudhukottai Old Bus stand to Anna statue Pudhukottai on 15.02.2023 at 10.00 a.m. and at the end of the condolence procession to pay Homage near Anna Statue.

2. Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the property shown for paying homage is a private property and that they may be directed to have procession from Pudhukottai Old Bus stand to Anna Statue Pudhukottai.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the writ petitioner is directed to file an affidavit 2/4

undertaking to conduct the condolence procession from Pudhukottai Old Bus stand to Anna Statue Pudhukottai on 15.02.2023 and they will not enter the private property and on filing such undertaking affidavit, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the writ petitioner and pass orders on 14.02.2023 without fail.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
