ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the respondent police, Inspector of Police, S.V.Mangalam Police Station, Sivagangai District to expedite the investigation in Crime No.116 of 2015 dated 26.08.2015 and the file Final Report, within the time fixed by this Court.

2. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that based on the complaint given by the defacto complainant the respondent police conducted enquiry in Crime No.116 of 2015 and closed the complaint as ' Action Dropped' on 15.10.2015.

3. Recording the aforesaid submission, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. However the respondent police is directed to serve RCS notice to the defacto complainant and on receipt of the RCS notice the petitioner is at liberty to file a protest petition before the concerned jurisdictional Magistrate.
