ORDER

This petition is filed to relax the condition imposed on the petitioner, by this Court in Crl.M.P.(MD)No.4062 of 2024 in Crl.A.(MD)No.280 of 2024, by order dated 1/3

12.08.2024.

2. This Court, while suspending the sentence on 12.08.2024, directed the petitioner to appear before the learned I Additional District and Sessions Judge for EC & NDPS Act Cases, Madurai, on the first working day of every week until further orders.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a resident of Tirunelveli and in order to comply with the said condition, the petitioner has travelled from Tirunelveli to Madurai and appeared before the Court every week without fail. Now, the petitioner is complying with the said condition for more than five months. Therefore, he seeks for relaxation of the said condition.

4. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this petition is allowed and the condition is modified to the effect that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent Police on the first working day of every week till the disposal of the appeal.
