2. The habeas corpus petition is filed by the petitioner for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus to the respondent - Police to

produce the person or body of his daugther, namely, Ranjitha, aged about 19 years, before this Court.

3. On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint, dated 23.01.2019, given by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.34 of 2019 has been registered by the second respondent for the offence punishable under Section 366 I.P.C. and investigation is in progress.

4. In view of the above submissions, the habeas corpus petition is closed with a direction to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Dindigul Rural Sub-Division, to monitor the investigation in Crime No.34 of 2019 that is being conducted by the second respondent and keep the petitioner informed of the developments, if any, from time to time.
