PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1 to 3 respondents to issue No Objection letter after due Verification of the land and survey records maintained by the Corporation of Madurai based on the proceedings issued by the Revenue Divisional Officer in Na.Ka.No.E.2571894/2024/B dated 30.06.2025 and consequently considering the representation dated 16.12.2025. 1/4

ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to issue no objection letter after due vertification of the land and the survey records maintained by the Corporation based upon the proceedings of Revenue Divisional Officer dated 30.06.2025 and considering the representation of the petitioner dated 16.12.2025.

2. According to the learned Counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, T.S. No.598 is his private property and it has been wrongly classified as a Street. However, he has put up a house property in T.S.No.598. Therefore, he had made a request to the revenue officials as well as the Corporation officials to correct the said mistake. The Revenue Divisional Officer, Madurai, had addressed a communication to the respondents 1 and 3 herein on 30.06.2025 calling for clarification. So far, the respondents 1 and 3 have not responded. Hence, the present writ petition.

3. Considering the above said facts, the third respondent is directed to send a detailed report with regard to clarification sought for by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Madurai, dated 30.06.2025, within a period of 8(eight) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
