[Order of the Court was made by B.PUGALENDHI, J.] Today, Mr.K.Solairaj, Sub-Inspector of Police, D1-Tallakulam Law & Order Police Station, is present.

2. This habeas corpus petition is filed by the petitioner for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus to the respondent - Police to produce the person or body of his wife, namely, Porkodi, aged about 23 years, before this Court.

3. According to the petitioner, he is the husband of the detenue - Porkodi and they got married on 05.05.2017 and their marriage has also been duly registered by the Sub-Registrar, Nilakkottai, vide Marriage Registration Certificate No.271 of 2017. Further, according to the petitioner, the fourth respondent, who is the father of the detenue, has taken the detenue and kept her in his illegal custody and hence, the present habeas corpus petition has been filed.

4. Today, the respondent - Police produced the detenue - Porkodi before this Court. On enquiry by this Court, she has stated that she is a B.E.Graduate and got married with the petitioner and expressed her willingness to go along with the petitioner.

5. Recording the submissions of the detenue, her custody is handed over to the petitioner and the habeas corpus petition is closed.
