ORDER

Mr.S.Kameswaran, learned Government Advocate takes notice notice on behalf of the respondents.

2. Considering the limited relief sought for in the writ petition, with the consent of the parties, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. The petitioner seeks issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to dispose of his revision petition dated 15.06.2022.

4. The petitioner is aggrieved by classification of his land as 'odai' and therefore, sought for rectification of the revenue records. In this connection, he has filed a revenue revision petition before the 1st respondent on 15.06.2022.

5. Considering the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, it would be suffice to issue a direction to the 1st respondent to dispose of the revision petition pending on his file within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above observations and directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
