ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by N.SATHISH KUMAR, J.) This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 not to allow or permit the fourth respondent to construct a compound wall in S.No.148/16 on the southern, eastern and western sides of the petitioner's village, namely Kalukerkadai, Sivagangai District. 2/5

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 and 2 submitted that a report has been filed by the second respondent stating that the fourth respondent has put up the subject compound wall in his patta land and that the said compound wall does not obstruct the free flow of water in the canal. Therefore, the relief sought for in the Writ Petition has become infructuous and nothing survives for adjudication in the present Writ Petition. 3.Recording the said submission, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
