[Order of the Court was made by B.PUGALENDHI, J.] Today, Mr.M.Dhinesh, Sub-Inspector of Police, Karaikudi North Police Station, Sivagangai District, is present.

2. This habeas corpus petition is filed by the petitioner for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus to the respondent - Police to produce the person or body of her husband, namely, Periyasamy, aged about 50 years, before this Court.

3. On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the detenu, namely, Periyasamy has been arrested by

Andhra Pradesh Police in connection with a case in Crime No.8 of 2019, registered on the file of Gudipala Police Station, Chittoor District, for the offence punishable under Section 420 I.P.C. and remanded before the learned IV Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, Chittoor, on 09.02.2019 and he has also produced a copy of the first information report before this Court.

4. In view of the above submissions, the habeas corpus petition is closed.
