The petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code to direct the first respondent to file final report in Crime No.342 of 2018 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Kenikarai Police Station, Ramanathapuram District.

2.Mr.R.Erottuchamy, learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), who accepts notice on behalf of the first respondent, on instructions, would contend that the investigation in Crime No.342 of 2018 of Inspector of Police, Nathampatti Police Station, Virudhunagar District, is underway and prayed for one month time to file a final report.

3.Considering the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), the first respondent is directed to expedite the investigation and file a final report/referred charge sheet, as the case may be in Crime No.342 of 2018 within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order/uploading of the order.
