2.

Today, Mr.S.Valli, Sub-Inspector of Police, Palayamkottai Police Station, Tirunelveli City, is present.

3. Saranya was produced before this Court. When we enquired her, she stated that she is 24 years old and has completed B.Tech. She further stated that she was in love with Kasirajan (third respondent herein), who is distantly related to her and had gone, on her own volition, with him. Further she stated that she is aware Kasirajan's earlier marriage with one Ramalakshmi and his marriage with Ramalakshmi was dissolved, because Ramalakshmi's parents were not agreeable for her marriage with Kasirajan. She further stated that Ramalakshmi got married thereafter and settled.

4. In such view of the matter, we do not find that Saranya is in the illegal detention of anyone, muchless the third respondent herein.

Hence, the habeas corpus petition is dismissed.
