No.06/Detention/C.P.O/T.C./2019 dated 04.02.2019 and set aside the same as illegal and direct the respondents to produce the body and person of the petitioner's son, viz., Arun @ Arunprasath, S/o Rajendran, aged about 31 years, who is detained in Central Prison, Trichy, before this Court and set him at liberty. ORDER

(DELIVERED BY P.N.PRAKASH, J.) The present habeas corpus petition has been preferred by the petitioner challenging the detention order dated 04.02.2019 passed by the 2nd respondent in and by which the 2nd respondent detained the detenu, Arun @ Arunprasath, S/o Rajendran, branding him as a 'Goonda' under Section 3 (1) of Prevention of Black Marketing & Maintenance of Supplies of Essential Commodities Act, 1980 with a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

view to preventing him from acting prejudicial to the interest of public health and public order.

2. When the matter is taken up today, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submit that the detention order impugned above has been revoked by the Government. A copy of the order of revocation in G.O. Rt. No.1032, Home, Prohibition & Excise (XII) Department, dated 25.03.2019 is produced before this Court.

3. Recording the said revocation, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition and, accordingly, this habeas corpus petition is closed.
