PRAYER (in H.C.P.(MD) No.279 of 2019): Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of habeas corpus directing the respondents herein to produce the person or body of petitioner's daughter namely S.Kaviya aged about 17 years (Minor) D/o.Sakthivel, before this Court and hand over the custody to the Petitioner.

PRAYER (in H.C.P.(MD) No.283 of 2019): Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of habeas corpus directing the respondents herein to produce the person or body of petitioner's daughter namely Vanitha aged about 17 years (Minor) D/o.Ramasamy, before this Court and handover the custody to the Petitioner.

For Petitioner : Mr.J.Sathiaraj (in both H.C.Ps.) For Respondents : Mr.M.Chandrasekaran (in both H.C.Ps.) Additional Public Prosecutor C O M M O N O R D E R [Order of the Court was made by B.PUGALENDHI, J.] Sakthivel and Ramasamy have filed H.C.P.(MD) Nos.279 of 2019 and 283 of 2019 stating that their daughters Kaviya, aged about 17 years and Vanitha, aged about 17 years, respectively, went missing. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, earlier submitted that out of exam fear, the detenues left their home. Now, on information, the Police have secured the detenues at Telangana and also produced them before this Court.

3. When we enquired, the detenues stated that they are willing to go with their parents. Since the detenues are minors, their custody has been handed over to their parents.

4. In view of the above, the Habeas Corpus Petitions are closed.

This Court places on record its appreciation to Mr.B.Sivakumar, Inspector of Police, Vadamadurai Police Station, Dindugul District, for the efforts taken by him to trace the detenues at the earliest.
