.. 2nd Respondent/Enquiry Officer PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, call for the records in D.V.O.P.No.27 of 2014 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Melur and consequential enquiry proceedings vide Na.Ka.No.5567/A4/2014, dated 11.11.2014 initiated by the 2nd respondent/enquiry officer and to quash the same as illegal in so far it related to petitioner and arbitrary.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in D.V.O.P.No.27 of 2014 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Melur and consequential enquiry proceedings vide Na.Ka.No.5567/A4/2014, dated 11.11.2014 initiated by the 2nd respondent/enquiry officer.

2.When the matter was posted for admission on 22.12.2014, no representation for the petitioner and it was ordered to post after vacation. Thereafter, the matter is pending for the past 4 years without even ordering notice or admitting by this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.It seems that the petitioner has no interest to proceed with the matter, further. More over, the case is of the year 2014. Therefore, this Court is of the view that the pendency of this criminal original petition would not serve for any purpose. 4.In view of the above, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
