Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 5 particularly the respondents 2 and 5 to give police protection to the petitioner for cultivating at his assigned land of bearing survey No. 745/26, situated at Kalladai Village, Kulithalai Taluk, Karur District as per the order passed by the Hon'ble High Court Principal Seat at Madras in W.P.No. 36623 of 2003, dated 09.11.2018.

ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus, seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 5 particularly, the respondents 2 and 5 to give police protection based on the order passed by the Hon'ble High Court Principal Seat at Madras in W.P.No. 36623 of 2003, dated 09.11.2018.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 5 submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the fifth respondent herein conducted enquiry after issuance of summons to the petitioner and the respondents 6 to 8 herein. During enquiry, the respondents 6 to 8 undertook not to disturb enjoyment of the petitioner's property and recorded the said submission, the enquiry was closed on 23.06.2021.

3.Recording the same, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
