[Order of the Court was made by B.PUGALENDHI, J.] Today, Mr.Aji Kumar, Special Sub Inspector of Police, Aralwaimozhi Police Station, Kanyakumari District, is present.

The petitioner has filed this Habeas Corpus Petition stating that her daughter Rabina Begam went missing from 22.12.2018, for which, she lodged a complaint before the second respondent Police and the same was registered in Crime No.376 of 2018, on 24.12.2018, for woman missing. Even according to the petitioner, her daughter Rabina Begam went along with one Kamal, son of Rafiq.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner's daughter Rabina Begam has eloped with Kamal, son of Rafiq, to Kerala and the Police have formed a Special Team to trace the detenue and the Police are also searching for them. But, the Police are not able to fix them at Kerala, as Rabina Begam and Kamal are changing the place then and there.

4. In view of the above, the Habeas Corpus Petition is closed with a direction to the respondent Police to proceed with the investigation and keep the petitioner informed of the developments, if any, from time to time.
