PRAYER: Civil Revision Petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India to direct the learned 1st Additional District Judge, Madurai District to complete the trial and dispose of the case in GWOP No.256 of 2022 pending on his file as expeditiously as possible within the time stipulation as prescribed by this Honourable Court and pass such any or other orders as this Honourable Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case and thus render justice. ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition is filed seeking direction to direct the learned 1st Additional District Judge, Madurai District to complete the trial and dispose of the case in GWOP No.256 of 2022 as expeditiously as possible 1/3

Taking into consideration the plea made by the petitioner, this Court called for a report from the learned I Additional District Judge, Madurai, regarding the time required to dispose of the Guardian and Wards Original Petition. The report has been submitted by the learned I Additional District Judge, Madurai. He has stated that both the counsel did not attend the Court from 02.12.2025 to 08.01.2026, as the trial in the infamous Sattankulam Double Murder Case was ongoing. The learned I Additional District Judge, Madurai is confident that the Guardian and Wards Original Petition will be disposed of within a period of four months.

3. Recording the same, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. The learned I Additional District Judge, Madurai is directed to dispose of the G.W.O.P.No.256 of 2022 within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
