ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent / Tahsildar to an conduct enquiry by considering the petitioner's representation dated 12.01.2026.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the subject properties are ancestral in nature and the petitioner is in peaceful possession and enjoyment thereof. While so, without the knowledge or consent of the petitioner or his family members, S.No.316/2 was illegally subdivided and five separate Pattas were issued in the names of third parties. Though the petitioner submitted a representation to the respondents seeking enquiry, no action has been taken till date, compelling the petitioner to file the present Writ Petition.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. Recording the above submission, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to conduct an enquiry on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 12.01.2026, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to all the necessary parties, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Needless to state that in the event of any rival claims, the parties are at liberty to work out their remedies before the Civil Court. There shall be no order as to costs.
