ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by J.NISHA BANU, J.] Heard Mr.S.Selvakumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Thilak Kumar, learned Government Pleader appearing for respondents. 2.It is the grievance of the petitioner that his representation dated 22.01.2025, seeking removal of the encroachment made in the land in Survey Nos.763/5 & 763/7A, Dindigul Road to Trichy Road, Anbin Nagar Layout, Seelapadi Village, Dindigul West Taluk, Dindigul District, which is classified as 'Road', is kept pending till date without any progress. Therefore, he has filed this Writ Petition seeking for a direction to the 1st respondent to give suitable directions to the 4th respondent to remove the encroachment made in the land led for the public purpose in the name of Road in Survey Nos.763/5 & 763/7A, Dindigul Road to Trichy Road, Anbin Nagar Layout, Seelapadi Village, Dindigul
West Taluk, Dindigul District based on the representation given to the respondents on 22.01.2025 within the period stipulated by this Court. 3.Though the petitioner has sought for a larger relief in this Writ Petition, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 22.01.2025 on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame.
4.The learned Government Pleader for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed therein on its own merits within a period that may be stipulated by this Court.
5.Considering the limited scope of the prayer now sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner either in the representation or in the affidavit filed in support of this Writ Petition, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.01.2025 by giving personal hearing to the parties concerned and pass appropriate orders on merits
and in accordance with law within a period of twelve [12] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
