ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this petition, praying to direct the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.971 of 2013 and to file charge sheet in accordance with law within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the Government Advocate (Crl. Side), on instructions, would submit that already charge sheet has been filed before the Judicial Magistrate No.2, Trichy, as action dropped.

3. Recording the submission made by the Government Advocate (crl.side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed. However the respondent police is directed to send the closure report to the petitioner within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already sent.
