Mr.S.S.Manoj, Government Advocate (Criminal Side) ORDER : The Court made the following order :- This Petition has been filed to extend the time granted by this Court in CRL.OP (MD).No.21996 of 2024 dated 13.12.2024 to surrender and execute the surety before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Tirunelveli.

2. Mr.C.Rathna Vel Pandian, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the copy of the order dated 13.12.2024 was made ready on 20.01.2025, in the mean time, the petitioner executed sureties on 30.01.2025 but the concerned Magistrate refused to accept the sureties stating that the copy application was filed beyond 15 days. Hence, he prays to grant further time to surrender and execute the sureties.

3. Heard Mr.S.S.Manoj, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, this petition is ordered and time is extended till 14.03.2025 to comply the order passed by this Court in CRL.OP(MD).No.21996 of 2024 dated 13.12.2024.
