O R D E R
The Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus, seeking police protection and also to direct the third respondent to convene a peace committee meeting to settle the issue based on his representation, dated 27.01.2022.
2.It is seen that the petitioner's son involved in Crime No.14 of 2020, registered on the file of the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Arupukottai, alleging that his son cheated the girl aged about 22 years and on the pretext of false marriage he had physical relationship with the victim. In this regard, the petitioner was enquired and till now the accused is not secured. 3.On perusal of the representation submitted by the petitioner revealed that the respondents trespassed into the house and damaged the valuables along with the complainant party. The petitioner is not permitted to do his agricultural activities in his farm and he is not able to use his tractor.
4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner's son had fallen in love with one Vanitha and he had physical relationship with her and thereafter, he refused to marry her. Therefore, on the complaint lodged by the said Vanitha, the case has been registered in Crime No.14 of 2020 as against the son, Thirumurugan and it is pending for investigation. The petitioner was never obstructed by anybody to do his activities. 5.In view of the above, the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition is devoid of merits and the same is dismissed. No costs.
