ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been by the petitioner to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioner and his family members in any manner in the guise of enquiry by considering the representation dated 10.01.2025.
2. According to the petitioner, he is residing in the Karuppamani, Maruthagavayal Post, Peruvurani Taluk, Thanjavur District and now he is working at Chennai. While so, the respondent police went to the house of the petitioner and harass the family members of the petitioner. Therefore, he sent a representation dated 10.01.2025 and the same has not been considered. Hence, he filed this petition.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal) appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner is a history sheet holder and in order to monitor the petitioner, they used to go to the house of the petitioner once in a month, but they have not harassed any of the family members of the petitioner. Since he is a history sheet holder in H.S.No.35 of 2015, it is the duty of the police to monitor him. Therefore, they have no way harassed the petitioner as alleged in the petition.

Since the petitioner is a history sheet holder in H.S.No.35 of 2015 and the same is pending, the respondent police monitor the petitioner, however the police assured that they have not harassed either the petitioner or his family members. Only they visited the place of the petitioner to monitor the history sheet holders.
