This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to call for the records pertaining to the proceedings in Crime No.573 of 2021 pending on the file of the first respondent police and quash the same against this petitioner alone. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the first respondent submitted that FIR was closed and produced the order passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate II, Srivilliputhur dated 20.01.2023, wherein the Magistrate taking note of G.O.(Ms)No.176, Home (Cts-IV) Department, dated 05.04.2022, which was passed by the Tamil Nadu Government to withdraw the cases relating to spread of Covid-19 during a protest, closed the first information report in Crime No.573 of 2021. 3.Recording the above said submission, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
