For Respondent : M/s.R.Sivakumar, Government Advocate (Crl. Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Section 438 of Cr.P.C. PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.18 of 2022 on the file of the Respondent police.
ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/accused, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 454 and 380 IPC, in Crime No.18 of 2022, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner trespassed into the house of the defacto complainant and had stolen jewels of the defacto complainant. Hence, the complaint. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the defacto complainant has specifically named the petitioner as the accused involved in the alleged occurrence.
5.Considering the seriousness and gravity of the offence alleged against the petitioner and also the fact that property is not yet recovered, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
