[Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.] The writ on hand has been instituted to direct respondents 4 and 5 to recover the 100 teak trees, which were illegally cut down by 2/5

respondents 8 and 9 from the bund of Kodakan Channel at Suthamalli Village, Tirunelveli District and auction the same.

2. The learned Government Pleader, on instructions, would submit that the teak trees allegedly cut down by respondents 8 and 9 were in patta lands and necessary permission has been obtained from the Forest Department and the Revenue Department.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned Government Pleader, there is no irregularity. Thus, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. [S.M.S., J.] [S.S.Y., J.] 15.07.2025 Index:Yes Internet:Yes/No NCC:Yes/No abr 3/5
