ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the summon dated 08.02.2022 on the file of the first respondent police.

2. On the complaint lodged by the second respondent, first respondent issued summons for enquiry and directed him to appear on 14.02.2022 and now the date also expired.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the second respondent alleging that the petitioner has received https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

money alleged and cheated some people, however summon is pending on the file of the first respondent.

4. In view of the same, summons cannot be quashed. Hence the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. However the first respondent is directed to complete the enquiry within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after hearing the petitioner.

Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
