PRAYER :- for bail in Crime No. 20 of 2003 on the file of the respondent police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.

2. The petitioner is in custody since 16.10.2019 for the offences under Section 341, 342, 397 and 379 r/w. 149 of I.P.C., in Crime No.20 of 2003 on the file of the respondent police. Hence, he seeks bail.

3. The petitioner is facing committal proceedings in P.R.C.No.29 of 2005. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) points out that NBW was issued way back in the year 2005 and that it was pending for so long. The petitioner appears to be having cases registered against him in Kerala.

4. Taking note of the bad antecedents of the petitioner and the fact that he is absconding for 15 long years, I am not inclined to grant relief. This criminal original petition stands dismissed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

However, the Committal Court is directed to conclude the proceedings as early as possible.
