[Made by PARESH UPADHYAY, J.] This petition is styled as public interest litigation.

2. The prayer is that the local administration of Trichy District be directed to have sufficient number of bus stands, i.e., at about 5 places to reduce the traffic congestion in the city.

3. Writ Court can not regulate the functioning of the Government like this. This petition therefore needs to be dismissed.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
