PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying this Court direct to transfer the investigation of the complaint dated 24.01.2022 from the 2nd respondent to the 1st respondent or to any other competent authority and to take immediate steps to find out whereabouts of the wife of the petitioner. ORDER

The petition has been filed seeking transfer of investigation on the complaint dated 24.01.2022 from the file of the second respondent to the first respondent.

2.Admittedly, the petitioner lodged complaint, dated 24.01.2022 and it is pending on the file of the second respondent. 3.Therefore, before registration of any FIR, the transfer of investigation does not arise and the prayer sought for in this petition cannot be granted. Accordingly, the criminal original petition is dismissed. However, the second respondent is directed to enquire the complaint and dispose of the same within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order, if not already disposed of.
