ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records of the charge sheet in C.C.No.267/2013 pending on the file of the Learned Judicial Magistrate, Nilakottai and quash the same.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioners are only present at the place of occurence. They are unnecessarily added in the case.

3.It is seen from the records that no ground is raised by the learned counsel for the petitioner to quash the criminal proceedings against him. The grounds raised in the petition have to be gone into in a full fledged trial. Accordingly, this Court is of the view that this criminal original petition is liable to be dismissed. However, the leanred Judicial Magistrate, Nilakottai is directed to complete the trial within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.Therefore, this criminal original petition is dismissed with the above directions. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also dismissed.
