No. 79 of 2023 pending on the file of the District Munsif - cum - Judicial Magistrate Court, Alangudi, within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned District Munsif-cum Judicial Magistrate, Alangudi, to expeditiously 1/4

complete the trail in C.C. No. 79 of 2023 pending on the file within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. According to the petitioner he is the defacto complainant in this case and based on the complaint given by the defacto complainant a case has been registered in Crime No.151 of 2019. Thereafter the respondent police completed investigation and also filed final report before the learned District Munsif-cum Judicial Magistrate, Alangudi and the same is pending in C.C.No.79 of 2023, but so far no witnesses have been examined. The defacto complainant has lost 165 sovereigns of gold jewels, therefore she seeks speedy disposal of the case.

3. This Court called for report from the trial Court as about the status of the case. The learned Magistrate has also filed a report stating that summons have been sent to L.W.1 to L.W.3 and the case stands posted to trial on 26.02.2025.

4. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) submitted that they will produce the witnesses without any delay and will co-operate for speedy disposal of the trial 2/4

5. Since the case is pending from 2019 and the case is pending for examination of witnesses, this Court directs the trial Court to complete the trial as early as possible preferably with a period of six months from the date of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
