ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking to transfer the investigation from the file of the third respondent to the file of the CBCID in Crime No.44 of 2023 dated 13.03.2023, pending investigation on the file of the 3rd respondent herein.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the defacto complainant and at her instance, Crime No.44 of 2023 was registered for the offence under Sections 147, 342 and 364(A) of IPC @ 147, 342, 364(A) and 120(B) of IPC, with respect to the kidnap of her husband from whom signature of the petitioner's husband was obtained in the blank documents at knife point by all the accused namely, Uthirakumar, Selvakumar, Anand, Nehrumurugan and Balamurugan. However, even after the registration of the FIR, there is no progress in the investigation. Hence, he sought the indulgence of this Court.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent police fairly submitted that the investigation is still pending.

4. Recording the same, this Court directs the first respondent to monitor the investigation conducted by the third respondent. Accordingly, this Criminal 2/4

Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to appraise the progress of the investigation to the first respondent every Friday. 03.02.2026 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No dss TO:-
