PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider the representation dated 09.01.2020 made by the petitioner in the light of the order in W.P.(MD) No.2833 of 2017 dated 23.08.2017 within time that may be stipulated by this Court. [Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.] The writ on hand has been instituted to direct the respondents to consider the representation dated 09.01.2020 made by the petitioner in the light of the order in W.P.(MD) No.2833 of 2017 dated 23.08.2017.

2. The learned Government Pleader appearing on behalf of respondents 1 to 4 would submit that the electricity pole has been erected after obtaining due permission from the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned Government Pleader, no further adjudication is required in this Writ Petition and the same stands disposed of. If at all any inconvenience arises to the residents of the subject locality, they are at liberty to submit a representation to the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board, which in turn may consider the same in accordance with the Electricity Supply Code or the Rules as applicable. There shall be no order as to costs.
